The process

What is Hydro Graphics?
Hydro Graphics is the process of taking a 2 dimensional graphic or design and “printing” it onto the surfaces of any 3D solid object such as metal, wood, plastic, stone, ceramic, etc.
We will take you from plain to insane!
Hydro Graphics is done in 8 steps:
1) First the item is prepped.
2) Second, a epoxy primer coat with adhesion promoter is applied.
3) Next, the item is coated with a colored base coat, which becomes the background color.
4) Then the film pattern is placed into a specialized tank to allow it to hydrate.
5) After, the pattern is sprayed with an activator solution until the film liquifies and floats on top of the water in an oil like state.
6) Next, the item is submerged into the film. The pressure of the water allows the pattern to adhere evenly around the entire object.
7) The printed section is washed to remove any residue and left to dry.
8) A final layer of high grade PPG clear coat is applied on the dried part to ensure its durability.
Durability
All items are coated with PPG Deltron urethane clear coat to ensure maximum protection. This clear coat will protect the finish from UV rays, scratches and most chemicals. Once the clear coat is dry, the item is just as durable as an automotive paint finish. Designs are applied between base color and clear coat in order to provide a seal..
With its durable finish there are endless applications. It can be used for your vehicle, aircraft, marine, hunting/outdoor pursuits, hobbies or around the home or office.
You can also have your items scratch resistant with Ceramic Clear Coat.
Designs include:
No Bubbles - No Creases - No Peeling - No Discoloring
The final finish or clear coat, which is professionally applied and baked, can be matte, semi or high gloss depending on preference. Take advantage and be one of the first to have this very unique product!
